Alternative Sicily and the Belgian no profit organisation Xtreme Geoteam, organises from 23 to 26 July the international GPS-based adventure 'The Trinakrian Trail' at Nicosia, in the heart of Sicily.

The event 'The Trinakrian Trail' combines sports, technology, exploring local nature and culture and international exchange in a innovating way. The trail will test the physical fitness, skills and knowledge of each team.
Every team is composed of a group of four persons. This competition will be organized with teams of different countries. During 3 days they will explore the heart of Sicily by foot and GPS and will have to complete missions and tasks as fast as possible.
The cost for joining the event is the folowing:
- 3 days in Half board: 190 euro per person (from diner 23/07 until breakfast 26/07)
- 2 days in Half Board: 130 euro per person (from diner 23/07 until lunch 25/07)
This price includes: 2 or 3 nights in Half Board in local agriturismo in double/triple/quadruple room; 2 lunchpackages; insurance; organisation.
This price DOES NOT INCLUDE: flight to Sicily and vice versa, transport on Sicily from airport to Nicosia and during the event (the ideal is renting a car per group of 4 participants), drinks during the event (except lunch and diner), etc....
Eventual single supplement to be comunicated.
PS: The event is a 'low-budget' event, based on the simple desire of organising a funny and international competition between teams of several countries. As conseguence, there are no special prizes to be won. But discovering the Sicilian hinterland is a special prize on itself :(
